FOOD SHORTAGES MARCH 1916

IMG_20151126_121511-2-COLLAGEBy March 17th 1916 food prices in the UK had risen  48% since the start of war.

They fetched water from an Edwardian pump, mucked out and prepared the stables, fed and inspected the sheep and loved feeding and collecting eggs from the chickens.
